Last night I dreamt I was swimming at a local pool and when I got out a doctor stopped to ask me where his overweight patients could get BMI screenings and I realized that doctor was Chris Noth. The dream went on to get stranger as my friends and I were taking a class on how to properly manage our money and lives. I didn't have to go to the dream dictionary for to dissect the meaning in that one.
I get lost in my daydreams, I love going on adventures and people watching. This is a collection of my wants, dreams, and general thoughts on life.

Celebrities are invading my dreams
I have a strong memory for real events and dreams, and the past two nights were no exception. Saturday night I dreamt I was in a library searching for a book and stopped to ask the librarian who ended up being Tina Fey. According to dream dictionary, being in a library means that I am hungry for ideas and my search for knowledge.

Vanity Fair
Some people read the Economist cover to cover, and I believe Carrie Bradshaw referred to Vogue as her bible. But I for one am very partial to Vanity Fair. I read the recent Vanity Fair Hollywood Issue from cover to cover. I even study the ads, comparing one to the next. Lauren Bacall painted an ethereal image of Hollywood and New York and her life with Bogie. Johnny Carson's old producer's wife talked about her inner circle with the Reagans, Sinatras, Pecks, etc. Jealous doesn't even begin to describe my thoughts.. Then they did a piece on Harvey Weinstein and the demise of Miramax and evolution of The Weinstein Company. He mentioned a sequel to Shakespeare in Love. Please Harvey, if you're out there, do not ruin perfection. It won best picture for a reason. Don't ruin that for me.
Martin Kaymer, I have a crush on you
The weather wasn't so sweet, so I spent most of today inside reading blogs, books, and watching golf with my beau. The one positive side of golf was Martin Kaymer. Cute, talented and fashionable. Check out that scarf, would you believe they typically market that towards fly fisherman (Martin's scarf)
The King's Wallpaper
This week I saw The King's Speech, and not surprisingly it ranks at the top of my list of favorite 2010 movies. I got lost in the story but also in the set designs, especially the wallpaper. Every scene had bright and vibrant wallpaper and incredible set design. I'm pretty obsessed with the silvery blue wallpaper with Logue's son. I'm tempted to see the movie again, this time to pay attention to all ornate details I missed the first time around.
Let's be Adventurers
This print is by far my favorite purchase of February. Makes me yearn for spring, summer and upcoming adventures.
